Accounts and saving
Do I need an account?
No. You can play everything as a guest. Your progress is saved on the device you play on.
What does a DOPAPLAY account add?
A free account at dopaplay.io saves your progress to the cloud, so you can continue on another phone or computer, and puts your name on the rankings. When you sign in, your guest progress is merged into the account; stars and records only ever go up.
How do I move to a new phone?
Sign in with the same DOPAPLAY account on both. On a device where signing in is awkward, open the account window and use Link with code.
Ads and Remove Ads
When do ads show?
Only between runs: never during a short, never before your first run, not in your first minutes, and not more often than every 90 seconds or so. Some bonuses (an extra heart, doubled followers, a daily booster gift) can be earned by choosing to watch an ad.
What does Remove Ads do?
It is a one time purchase that turns off the ads between runs and gives those bonuses without an ad. The Supporter Pack includes Remove Ads plus golden crowns for the clay friends, a gold frame on share cards and a supporter badge on the rankings.
Payments
How do I pay?
On the web, purchases go through dopaplay.io with Stripe and belong to your DOPAPLAY account. In the iPhone and Android apps, purchases go through the App Store or Google Play, and the account window has a Restore Purchases button.
Your data
How do I delete my data?
Open the account window from the home screen and choose Delete my data, then confirm. This deletes your DOPAPLAY account and everything saved for it, and the game starts again as a new guest. You can also manage or delete your account at dopaplay.io.
Playing
Can I play offline?
Yes, on a device where you have opened the game before. Online features such as rankings wait quietly until you are back online.
A short is too hard. What can I do?
Practice it: after a stage you can replay only the shorts you missed, at a slower speed. The game also gives a little extra time on shorts you keep missing.
